XARXA FP Mobility Managers meet in Munich

Last Thursday 19th October, the XARXA FP Mobility Managers meeting was held in Munich. Our colleague Nere Sierra attended the meeting on behalf of Muskiz. At the meeting, the different mobility managers, representing cities from all over Europe, had the opportunity to carry out various activities and dynamics to promote interaction between them and get to know each other better. In addition, they were able to talk about future projects and collaborations in order to make mobilities of teachers and students.

After the meeting, they were able to visit several VET schools in Munich, including IT for System Integration, BS für Büromanagement – BS für Marketing, etc.

XARXA FP is a European non-profit association created in 1999 that brings together 37 cities from 15 EU countries that collaborate on mobility and innovation in Vocational Education and Training (VET) schools. They represent more than 600 schools with more than 250,000 VET students.

XARXA FP was founded by Barcelona City Council, which proposed the creation of a network of cities with the aim of promoting a sustainable infrastructure between local administrations, companies and Vocational Training and Education (VET) centres to develop common mobility strategies for vocational training in close collaboration with the city’s productive sectors. The municipality of Muskiz, through the Somorrostro Training Centre, joined the association in 2022.
