TKGUNE PROGRAMME: BOOSTING VOCATIONAL TRAINING THROUGH DIGITAL INNOVATION

In education and vocational training, adapting to the demands of the current labour market is essential. The Tkgune programme emerges as an innovative and transformative initiative that promotes the development of digital skills in education, specifically focused on vocational training.

What is Tkgune?

Tkgune is a programme promoted by Tknika, the Centre for Applied Research and Innovation in Vocational Training of the Basque Country. Its main objective is to promote the integration of digital technologies in the teaching and learning processes of Vocational Training, as well as to foster innovation in this field.

How Tkgune Works: The 4 Phases of the Collaborative Project

The Tkgune programme is based on a collaborative approach that follows four main phases:

  1. Identification: At this stage, needs and opportunities for collaboration between schools and companies are identified. Areas of common interest are explored and project objectives are established.
  2. Definition: Once the areas of collaboration have been identified, the specific objectives of the project are defined, as well as the roles and responsibilities of each party involved. Success criteria are established and the development of the project is planned.
  3. Development: In this phase, the implementation of the project is carried out, using innovative methodologies and digital technologies. Training, research and development activities are carried out to achieve the expected results.
  4. Transfer: The final phase focuses on the two-way transfer of knowledge between schools and enterprises. Results and lessons learned are shared, allowing both parties to benefit from the collaboration.

Added Value for the Companies

Companies participating in Tkgune partnership projects benefit in several ways:

  • Access to young talent skilled in digital technologies.
  • Possibility of collaborating in innovation projects that address specific challenges in the sector.
  • Opportunity to influence the training of future professionals, adapting their skills to the needs of the labour market.

The Potential of TKgune

The Tkgune programme encompasses more than 45 educational centres throughout the Basque Country, which demonstrates its scope and impact on vocational training in the region. This broad network of collaboration allows the knowledge and experience of various actors in the educational and business spheres to be harnessed.
