MÁSTER-HIDRÓGENO

A podcast for Bolivia

Environmental Education and Control students Oier and Kepa have prepared a podcast to promote the production of compost from organic household waste and pruning waste. This idea arose as part of a challenge in collaboration with the NGDO Zabalketa, with the aim of creating environmental awareness materials aimed at the citizens of Valles Cruceños, Bolivia.

To do so, they contacted Javier García, Muskiz’s councillor for the environment and a firm believer in compost and its benefits. Javi was very kind and showed them the stages of the process in his own home.

On 29 May, they made this podcast a reality with the intervention of Teresa López de Armentia, from the NGDO Zabalketa and Javi, in a short interview recorded to be broadcast on a radio programme aimed at the farmers of the Valleys of Santa Cruz.
