In a world where social inclusion and vocational training are more important than ever, projects such as the Gazte On Programme promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia are invaluable.
A Way into the Future
The main objective of the Gazte On programme is to facilitate the integration into the labour market of young people between 18 and 23 years of age at risk of exclusion, providing them with the necessary tools to face the challenges of the labour market. In this IV edition, ten young people have had the opportunity to acquire technical skills and personal competences that prepare them for their professional future.
Integral Accompaniment
The training process has been accompanied by Caritas Bizkaia, which has provided social and comprehensive support to the participants. This collaboration has been essential to ensure that each young person receives the necessary guidance and accompaniment during their training.
Internships at Haizea Wind Bilbao
Starting in October, these ten young people will begin their internships at Haizea Wind Bilbao, a leading company in the renewable energy sector. This practical experience, which will last until February, is an unparalleled opportunity to apply what they have learned and gain experience in a real working environment.
The ultimate goal is clear: we hope that, at the end of their internships, these young people will be hired, thus giving them an opportunity to build their professional future.
A Bright Future
The success of the Gazte On programme is not only measured by job placement figures, but also by the positive impact it has on the lives of these young people. By providing them with training and job opportunities, we are helping to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
From our centre, we are proud to have been part of this transformative project and we look forward to continue supporting initiatives that promote the inclusion and professional development of our young people.
