Last Friday 17th May, we held the traditional end-of-year gala for our 2nd year Bachillerato students at the Barakaldo Theatre. An emotional event with more than 170 students accompanied by their closest relatives.

The gala, presented by the teacher Jon Lago and Marco Talledo, a second-year student, featured performances by three other students. The gala was opened by Amira Santos on the piano, followed by a performance by the dancer Uxue Múgica and the singer and keyboard player Aimar Lavín was in charge of closing the event.

The event has a very special character for the students, as the awarding of the “orlas” highlights the importance of their daily effort and the work they have done over the last two years, in short, it is a recognition full of emotions and enthusiasm.

The gala continued in the street where the students took lots of photos with their classmates, teachers and family members to make such a special moment unforgettable.
