The 11th Trapagaran BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2024 has been launched for the eleventh time. In this edition there are 3 companies sponsoring it. All of them are medium-sized and large companies in the town or directly linked to it. Amazon, 686 Transportes Logísticos y Portuarios and Talleres Alju are the companies participating in this programme promoted by the Employment and Local Development Agency of the mining town and with the collaboration of the Somorrostro Training Centre through the Marcelo Gangoiti Foundation.
The access will be open to young people under 30 years of age on 23 September 2024 who have been registered in Trapagaran without interruption since at least 23 September 2023 and who are studying an Intermediate or Higher Level Training Cycle respectively in the 2024/25 school year.
This year the amount of each scholarship is:
- 800 € / school year for an Intermediate Level Training Course
- 1.000 € / school year for a Higher Level Training Course
The scholarships will be as follows:
- Intermediate Level Training Cycle: 1 – Specialities: Boilermaking and Welding Technician 1
- Higher Level Training Cycle: 9 – Specialities: Automotive 3, Industrial Mechatronics 1, No speciality: 5
The application period for the grant will be from 23 September to 4 October 2024 at the Local Employment and Development Agency.
