The Somorrostro Training Center has been recognized by the Basque Government through EUSKALIT, with the award for Advanced Management in Innovation at a gala that was held this Tuesday, December 19, at the Palacio Europa in Vitoria-Gasteiz and that has had an extensive representation of the Basque Government, as the awards were presented by the Ministers Jokin Bildarratz (Education), Nerea Melgosa (Equality, Justice and Social Policies), Iñaki Arriola (Territorial Planning, Housing and Transport) and Gotzone Sagardui (Health).
Somorrostro adds this recognition in Advanced Management to the Gold A obtained in 2020, to the recognition in the Society element (year 2021) and to the award in the Strategy element (year 2022).
At the gala, the most advanced organizations with the best management practices in the Basque Country were recognized, in the following three categories:
- The Basque Award for Advanced Management
The highest award for management in the Basque Country, only accessible to those who have obtained in previous editions the Gold in the “A” Awards for Advanced Management, and have also passed a specific external evaluation in a specific management element.
In this year’s edition, a total of 2 organizations have been recognized with the highest award: the Santa María de Artagán School, which has obtained the Customer Award, and the Somorrostro Training Center, in Innovation.
- The “A” awards for Advanced Management
These awards can be Gold, Silver or Bronze, and in the 2023 edition, there will be 2 Gold, 6 Silver and 9 Bronze awards.
- Diplomas in Advanced Management
A total of 57 entities have received this diploma, which is reserved for organizations that demonstrate their commitment to developing the elements that make up Advanced Management.
