The Economic Promotion and Employment Department of Trapagaran Town Council has launched the 9th edition of the Business Grant Programme with the aim of promoting the study of Vocational Training for people from the municipality. Specifically, this year it will promote the studies of 12 young people under the age of 30 registered in the municipality who are studying Vocational Training, either in an Intermediate or Higher Level VET.
This programme is sponsored by Trapagaran Town Council, through its Employment and Local Development Agency, and financed by five companies in the town or related to it: Amazon (through the Somorrostro Centre), Cecotrans-Biz, Talleres Alju, Gaimaz and CNC (Navacel Group).
The scholarship recipients receive 800 euros for each school year for an Intermediate Level Training Cycle and 1,000 euros for a Higher Level Training Cycle. The application period for the scholarship will be from 29 November to 10 December 2021 at the Local Employment and Development Agency.
The grants will be distributed as follows: 1 grant for the Intermediate Level Training Cycle in Welding and Boilermaking, 3 grants for the Higher Level Training Cycle in Automotive, one for the Industrial Mechatronics cycle and seven others, also for Higher Level Cycles, but without specifying the speciality.
