On Friday, September 12, we welcomed a team of managers from different areas of Ingeteam to our center. The delegation was received by Javier Laiseca, director of the center, Sergio San Martín, director of Innovation, Jesús Quintana, head of Training for Employment, and Cristina Bueso, head of the Employment Access Center. During the day, four areas of collaboration with the company were discussed:

1️⃣ Customized training program: work is underway on the design of a specific initiative for Ingeteam Converters (Ortuella), focused on the assembly of electrical panels. The aim is to train people with secondary education qualifications so that they can access courses in which they can obtain the necessary skills to be hired.

2️⃣ Job bank – CAE: immediate and medium-term needs in terms of professional profiles were shared, and the functioning of our Employment Access Center (CAE) was explained.

3️⃣ Sestao Apprentice School: possible synergies with this project were explored, in which we also seek to strengthen the connection between training and employment.

4️⃣ Visit to the new Erquicia building: they got a first-hand look at the Muskiz energy hub, especially the areas related to power electronics and artificial intelligence, where we already collaborate with Ingeteam and want to continue developing new joint projects..

A day that strengthens the ties between business and education, which is key to promoting innovation and employability among our students.
