Tknika, the Basque Centre for Applied Research and Innovation in Vocational Training, has successfully concluded the course ‘Use cases of 5G private networks’, an initiative that consolidates its commitment to advanced training in emerging technologies. This eminently practical course has brought together teachers from different Vocational Training Centres in the Basque Country, including our colleague Vicente Llarena, teacher of telecommunications at Somorrostro, who have worked collaboratively to explore practical applications of 5G private networks.
The programme focused on three key application areas: VoLTE and VoNR (voice over 4G and 5G networks), audiovisual production systems and public safety. Participants had the opportunity to develop real use cases, applying theoretical knowledge in practical environments that reflect the demands of the industrial and technological sector. This training was given by Mikel Juanes, from CIFP Tartanga and Vicente Llarena, professor of telecommunications at Somorrostro.
This course is part of a series of training courses on 5G technology that Tknika has been providing for three years, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the training of professionals in this field. Unlike previous editions, this delivery has stood out for its 100% practical approach, allowing attendees to experience first-hand the transformative potential of 5G private networks in different sectors.
Tknika thus reaffirms its commitment to innovation and cutting-edge vocational training, preparing Basque schools and professionals to lead the adoption of disruptive technologies such as 5G, which is revolutionising sectors such as industry, communication and security.
