The Somorrostro Training Center has once again positioned itself as the leader in the Basque Country in managing recruitment subsidies under the “Lehen Aukera” program promoted by Lanbide, the Basque Employment Service.
The list of beneficiary companies and collaborating centers involved in processing these grants, which aim to promote the hiring of unemployed young people under the age of 30, has recently been published in the BOPV (Official Gazette of the Basque Country).
Somorrostro has processed more than 160 applications, resulting in numerous hires of young people who have found their first professional opportunity through this program.
The center appreciates the trust placed in it by companies that turn to Somorrostro to search for talent and manage grants, thereby reinforcing the shared commitment to youth employability and the development of the Basque productive fabric.
The “Lehen Aukera” program—an initiative of Lanbide—subsidizes the hiring of young people with little or no work experience through permanent or training contracts to gain professional experience, with the aim of facilitating their entry into the labor market and consolidating their professional careers.
This new edition reaffirms Somorrostro’s position as a leader in guidance, training, and employment, working hand in hand with companies and institutions to offer young people a professional future full of opportunities.
