During the second half of June, our center has taken another step in the development of the SIMUJOB Project, an innovative program funded by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
SIMUJOB uses artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies to create immersive job interview simulations, to prepare vocational training students for effective job placement. Through this approach, soft skills, which are in high demand in today’s business world, are especially reinforced.
In our center, the initiative is led by Professor Fernando Garai, who has coordinated during the month of June a specific training for VET teachers, especially for those who teach FOL-EIE (IPEI-IPEII).
The training has been developed in two parts:
- Individualized sessions with each participating teacher to resolve doubts and personalize the use of the tool.
- A collective talk to share the general characteristics of the project, its applications in the classroom and the benefits for the students.
Thanks to this work, our teaching team is better prepared to integrate in class this innovative resource that will help students to train real interviews with AI and VR, improving their confidence, communication skills and employability options.
The SIMUJOB project is developed in collaboration with reference partners: CFP Campus Digital (Líder), CIFP Usurbil, IES Alfonso VII, Avansel Consultora and Innovae.
Project funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
